Take a moment to get acquainted with the largest section on the LSAT.
Our work on Logical Reasoning kicks off with the most fundamental skill of the section: your ability
to identify the main conclusion of an argument.
Moving on from Main Conclusion questions, we examine the strength with which conclusions can be
supported.
Time to put the spectrum of support to the test as we build on the previous module and fully step
into Most Strongly Supported questions.
Double your fun and take your ability to recognize support to the next level with Point at Issue questions.
What’s more strongly supported than Most Strongly Supported? Valid inferences, that’s what.
Tighten up your inference-making skills as we tackle Must Be True-type questions.
With this question type, we shift away from pulling inferences out of the stimulus, and we introduce a whole new family of questions that instead ask us to add new information back into the stimulus.
Return to the logic of cause-and-effect relationships with a look at how new premises can
affect—or fail to affect—causal arguments.
Keep honing your ability to critically engage with imperfect arguments as you work through a wider
variety of Weaken, Strengthen, and Evaluate questions.
Build on your skills in strengthening arguments with a closer look at the reasoning of rules and
applications, which arises on a number of Logical Reasoning questions.
Expanding on the patterns of general rules and specific applications that we saw in the previous
module, we now turn our attention to Principle questions.
When you strengthen an argument so hard, it’s logically indestructible. Learn about Sufficient
Assumption questions, which hold arguments to the highest standard of logical validity.
Pull together everything you’ve learned about assumptions, argument support, and conditional
reasoning with Necessary Assumption questions.
Master your ability to recognize argument structures with Argument Part questions.
Following closely on the previous module, learn to reliably describe the author’s line of
reasoning with Method of Reasoning questions.
Learn to identify and describe the many ways in which an argument can be flawed.
Rounding off our work on Logical Reasoning, Parallel questions put everything we’ve learned about
argument structure, support, assumptions, and flaws to the test.
