Make sure that:

  • Your essay tells a good story.

  • You answer the three big questions:

    1. What happened?
    2. How did it make you feel?
    3. What did you learn, or how did you change?

  • Your essay answers the application question.

  • You illustrate your point with anecdotes, images, lines of dialogue, and other details.
