Thinking of submitting an essay to our essay bank? here's what you need to know.

What you get

• If you're selected, a member of our Admissions Committee will read your essay, give it a rating, and provide a few sentences of feedback.
• We're interested in personal statements, perspective statements, school-specific essays, addenda, résumés -- whatever you're willing to share.

Protecting your privacy

• Selected essays will be uploaded to our Essay Bank. Please replace any identifying details you'd like to keep private (like the name of the company you work for) with reasonable alternatives that still keep the flow of the essay.
• We'll never use your name
• We won't make your essay public until the September following your submission
